How far in advance should we book? +

Most couples book 9–12 months in advance. Popular dates (spring and early summer) can fill quickly, so the earlier you enquire the better.

Do you have a minimum spend? +

Yes, for full-service weddings we have a minimum spend of $6.5k. This ensures we can source premium blooms and dedicate the time your event deserves. Pick-up weddings have a minimum spend of $3.5k.

What if I have no idea what I want? +

That’s exactly why you come to BBB. Most couples don’t have a clear vision when they start, and that’s completely normal. Through our consultation and design process, I’ll guide you, offer ideas, and create a tailored BBB floral experience that feels authentic to you and your wedding.

What if my budget doesn’t meet the minimum spend? +

Our minimums are in place to ensure we can provide the quality and attention to detail BBB is known for. If your budget falls under the minimum for full-service weddings, a great alternative is our pick-up option (from $3.5k), where you can still enjoy premium, curated florals with less on-the-day setup.

How does the booking process work? +

- Enquiry: Fill out the enquiry form and I will reach out to you within 48hrs to arrange a suitable time for a consultation call.

- Consultation: We’ll organise a Google Meet call or meeting to chat through your ideas and your ideal spend.

- Proposal & Quote: You’ll receive a tailored design proposal with floral styles I think will best suit your day and align with BBB’s style, along with an itemised quote.

- Booking: To secure your date, a signed agreement and 30% booking fee are required. Once these steps are completed, you’re officially booked in.

- Planning: We’ll stay in touch leading up to your wedding, finalising details around 6–8 weeks out. At this stage, we’ll book another Google Meet to go over your vision and the finer details.

- Wedding Day: Relax knowing everything will be curated with care, ensuring every detail is delivered seamlessly.

Can we make changes after booking? +

Absolutely. We understand things evolve. Final adjustments can be made up until 6–8 weeks before your wedding when the final balance is due.

Do you travel for weddings? +

Yes! We are based in Newcastle, NSW but love to travel. Additional travel and accommodation fees may apply depending on location.

What flowers will be used? +

We design with the best of what’s in season, guided by your colour palette and style preferences. While specific flowers can’t always be guaranteed, we ensure your arrangements reflect your vision.

Do you offer hire items? +

Yes, we have a curated selection of vessels, stands, and styling pieces available for hire. These can be added to your proposal – just ask me!

When is payment due? +

A 30% booking fee is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 6 weeks before the wedding.

What happens after the wedding? +

We’ll return to collect any hire items. If you’d like to keep your flowers, we can arrange them for you to take home or gift to guests.

Botanicals by B is based in Newcastle, NSW, but we are always happy to travel for weddings and events.


Amazing, amazing, amazing. Bridgette did our florals and styling for our wedding at Ravella in December 2024. We couldn’t have been happier with everything! So many beautiful details.
